Profoto calls its 500W/s B1 monolight an "off-camera" flash, emphasising its full wireless TTL capability with Canon, Nikon and very recently Sony cameras. Profoto has outfitted the B1 with a Li-ion battery packing 220 full-power flashes on a 1-hour quick charge or 2-hour trickle charge. Separate hireage of the Air Remote TTL transmitter allows output control over a 9-stop range up to 1,000', while new technology offers 0.1-1.9-second recycling, a 20 fps Burst Mode, and freeze-action flash durations of 1/19,000-second.
